But Regarding Beef... Carcass Weight vs. Processed Weight
Apples to Apples
Typically, you would be quoted carcass/hanging weight in buying a 1/4, 1/2 or full beef. Abov weights are what you will actually load into your freezer (Packaged Weight). The packaged weight is 35-40% less than the carcass/hanging weight.
